Dodge City Petro-Iron Skillet in Hanceville

In all my years of driving I have never been here. I must say it's great. The people are friendly and the store has everything you need. Really nice place..(blessings) keep up the good work..hats off to the staff and associates..

Very very clean establishment, been coming here for years even when it was privately owned as the dodge city truck stop. Still the same quality, great food great service very clean showers and restrooms, plenty of diesel fuel pumps and gas pumps, and pretty much hundreds of truck parking spaces. 250 to 300 if I not mistaken. And one of the best things about this truck stop is that it has a CB Radio Shop right next door to it within walking distance. Dont make a mistake and place the beautiful truck stop.

Always have what you need and it's pretty fun just to look around they have a ton of stuff

This is a 'required' stop for us on our way between Birmingham and Huntsville. At least 5 restaurants, a huge selection of drinks, snacks, and fresh foods in the large main store, and a GREAT selection of accessories and gift items - many unique and fun finds. Exceptionally clean too. Highly recommend! 👍💯

One of the better truck stops in the south!

Convenient and can't go wrong with pizza, donuts, and ice cream. All good.

Clean travel stop. For truckers, the showers are clean and there's never a wait. Lounge area is nice. Even has a dog bathing sink. Lots of truck accessories, clothes, gifts, fudge, fast food and home cooked food.

The truck parking is great at anytime. Multiple restaurants to choose from. Carry a lot more than pilot or loves. Facilities were clean and neat. Friendly staff.

Super expensive, way overpriced. Slammed full of inventory from wall to wall. More suited as a convenience store for tourist than a practical truckstop for OTR Drivers. If you like sugar,salt,and greasy food that'll kill 'ya quick then this is your truckstop.

This is exemplary for what truck stops should be. I'll add a bunch of photos. This place rocks, from the parking lot with ample angled spots that are easy to maneuver to the palethera of items available, to the wide range of food and beverages available. Great Job Petro/TA!

Great place to stop, on a road trip. Tons of food and travel items, if needed. Clean. Well stocked shelves, etc. Hot boiled peanuts were awesome!

Don't fall for the negative comments. This is one of the best kept truckstops I've ever been too. Lots of amenities lots of food options ,lot of parking and all of it is clean. Thank you to the staff here.

They got everything here. It is like a mini mall. Bathrooms dirty and the employee with the broom and dustpan did not have a mask. Note: the 3 stars is for bathroom condition only. The mask statement is just FYI

If you're looking for your basic, everyday truck stop, then keep looking because this place is NOT it! They have a food court, lounge, plenty of shopping and if you have a sweet tooth this is your spot. Do you have a dirty dog? Well you're in luck because they have a pet washing station just outside the arcade and laundromat.

The food from Popeyes was not good. Chicken was ok but the fries were full of grease ! The people that were working was lacking customer service.

Wow so many things in this rest stop. Lots of locally made gifts. Bought some pretty soy candles! Only $20

Love this place!!! They have upgraded over the years and is a must stop if you are coming thru here. The shop has worked on my trucks for a few years and do an awesome job.

Best Petro I ever been to. They have plenty of parking!!!!!!! Never have to worry about this parking lot getting full. They have a variety of restaurants inside: popeyes chicken, Burger King, Papa Johns pizza. They even have a dog wash station.

One of the overall best Truck Stops in almost every category. Clean Restrooms 2 Break RoomLarge selection of Fast and /comfort food.Lots of things to keep your eyes busy and if not careful, wallet lighter.The customer service is great, with friendly smiles and helpful without asking.This kind of service starts with management and I was fortunate to observe a couple of them interacting with employees. The place is huge and has a gigantic amount of things inside to purchase, there's a food court! It even has a place to wash your dog and the parking is simply amazing! It took me 10 minutes to walk to my truck and I'm 1/2 back in the parking lot that's how big it is...I'm impressed and will make this a normal place to stop for sure from now on...

This place was great. One of the best truck stops I've seen. Clean restrooms.. well maintained store.. great restaurants and amazing staff too. And a nice size souvenir selection in case you're just passes thru and wanna grab one.

I am a trucker and have been to almost every Petro in this beautiful country of ours. So I feel confident in saying that this is one of the top three Petros I've ever been to. A great selection of eating establishments, in house unique baked goods and regional store items I actually wanted to buy. Great place.

Accurate and quick fueling then I couldn't decide if I wanted a meat&three, chicken, pizza, or a burger. So, I got something from all of their good spots. And topped it off with a yummy ice cream cone. Pleasant, clean and positive employees.

Very large, with above average trucker store, food court and drivers lounge.Personnel are friendly and helpful. My only regret was that they don't have a real restaurant, just fast food. Dunkin, BK, Papa Johns.

This place is a mini mall. Lots of cool stuff, not just junk. If you need a military pin, or uniform ribbon or Chevron, this place has it, guaranteed. They've got "Gun tote'n mama" stuff, they've got really awesome metal work, all patriotic americana. Staff is super polite, and the rest rooms were spotless. Just an awesome stop, and I live right down the road, so I see it all the time, awesome place.

My visit was obviously a brief one (traveling). The place was clean and the attendants were nice.

We stopped here on our way from Huntsville and we were like kids in a candy store.. Baskin Robbins ice cream. A soul food eatery. Homemade candy and fudge Jams, jellies, honeys and pickles. I could go on.. but go for yourself.. its an adult paradise!!

I love baskin robbins....but no social distancing at all

This is a super clean and more contemporary of the Petros. They have a great country store and the employees are fast and super helpful.

Its a great place to stop. They have a great variety of things to eat. Its always clean with a nice atmosphere. Plus they have fuel for whatever you're driving.

The place was nicer than expected with numerous fast food options, including Papa Johns. This was my first time seeing the fast food version of PJs

They have lots of choices and the people are nice.

Always my I65 stop. Multiple restaurants (Popeyes, Papa John's, Iron Skillet, Dunking Donuts, Baskin Robbins, and Burger King). Huge chrome shop, novelty items, snacks, showers, dog wash, drivers lounge, laundry, and seating. Always clean.There is also a CB shop next door and a huge parking lot 100+ spaces.
